Sketches: A sketchy life

This selection from my sketch books, which were mostly produced on holidays, or while visiting, so there is less of "North Kerry" in them, date from 1998 onwards, and most were completed by 2000. They are in five Daler - Rowney sketch books on 150 g/m acid free cartridge paper, and are in the reverse of the following order (the most recent being first):

All the books have the same four themes:
1. Spain - 2. Ireland - 3. Still-Life - 4. People
Book 4 also has a section on Hong-Kong and Brittany
(Portraits of personal friends and relations in the books are not included)

Books 1 and 2 are in "landscape" format, 6 inches by 4 inches, the first having been started in March 1998 and completed in March 1999, and the second in March 1999, and completed in May 1999.
Book 3 and 4 are in "portrait" format, 4 inches by 5 inches, and 6 inches by 8 inches, respectively, both were started in November 1999, and both are completed.
Book 5 is in landscape format, 10 inches by 8 inches, was started in May 1999, and is unfinished.
